How was your Valentine's Day? It's just one of the 365 days this year but it was kind of a special day for me... I got engaged! My sweetie got me the prettiest ring and he totally surprised me! If you spent your February 14th with Netflix (how I spend most holidays), let me know what you watched! Netflix suggestions are the best suggestions.
I ended up not doing the cool DIY I wanted to do for cards but maybe I can still do it for upcoming holidays or birthdays. Check out the c-u-t-e tutorial here: http://ohjoy.blogs.com/my_weblog/2015/01/do-something-and-give-love-letters.html. Now that Valentine's Day is over, I am ready for spring! I know that photography in winter can be breathtaking and some people love getting out in the cold for that perfect capture.....not me. I do not like the cold! So hopefully as it it warms up I'll be posting more pictures on here! Speaking of photography...

Another DIY I want to try! This tutorial walks you thru how to make your lens cap extra awesome. I'm going to try it pretty soon and if it works out then I may think about adding them to my etsy store because I can't find many decorated lens caps! I did find some uber fabulous caps at photojojo but they run about $10. https://photojojo.com/store/awesomeness/snack-caps-lens-covers/. If you want a cap but don't have the time or patience to use mod podge, I would recommend checking out photojojo ;)
OK THIS IS THE LAST DIY: http://www.studiodiy.com/2014/12/01/diy-donut-elbow-patches/. I want to try this but do it a little differently so I may be drawing up a game plan in the next couple days to try that because donut elbow patches are a necessity.
I've added a couple really neat things to my etsy shop, such as this rad pump thermos:

I'll have trouble parting ways with this if it sells! If you'd like to see the items below plus more, click on the picture above.
{ MUSIC OF FEBRUARY }
Is it just me or has February been a great month for music?! Mat Kearney and Imagine Dragons both released new albums. Definitely check those to out ASAP. Lennon & Maisy released an amazing cover of Boom Clap that is sure to make you smile! Some other music I've been listening to include: John Mayer's cover of Beyonce's XO, NEEDTOBREATHE's new album Rivers in the Wasteland, and the remixes of I Bet My Life by Imagine Dragons that you can find on Spotify.
I think that's all for now! I'll try to post pictures of DIY projects I'll be attempting in the near future!
